Broward County is built out to the Everglades, developers are looking for land and they have zeroed in on golf courses.

Broward County Golf Course Conversion Study

LGC has voted to support Item 24, By a 9-0 vote the County Commissioners has directed staff to amend Broward's Comprehensive Land Use Plan to strongly discourage golf course conversions.
